In southern Portugal, nestled in the prestigious Algarve, stands Villa Sado: a residence
of more than 5,000 m² that redefines contemporary luxury. Its fluid design dissolves
the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, maximising the experience of open-air
living in an exclusive coastal setting.
Developed through seamless collaboration between the design team and CuellarStone,
the project showcases over 1,500 m² of natural stone in a wide range of applications —
from bathrooms and countertops to backlit claddings, organic panels, and staircases.
Among its most iconic features is the sculptural staircase in Absolute White Marble,
whose floating steps appear to emerge from the wall, creating an impression of
lightness and sophistication. The floors and wall claddings in Roman Classic Travertine
bring Mediterranean warmth, while the monumental Orinoco Quartzite countertop in
the kitchen commands attention as a centrepiece. In the bathrooms, Calacatta Lincoln
Marble combines with backlit Black Onyx panels, transforming intimate spaces into
expressions of timeless luxury.
