2024 NATIONAL AWARD AT THE MARBLE AWARDS

The project involves a complete renovation of the historic El Corte Inglés building, transforming it into a store for a renowned textile brand and a luxurious five-star hotel. The most notable aspect of the project is the transformation of the façade. It was designed with large stone pieces of Alhama Travertine marble , measuring 3.45 meters high x 1.60 meters wide and weighing over 1,600 kilograms. The pieces, anchored from floor to floor with vertical curves and indentations, provide a timeless beauty, marking a new milestone in the city’s architecture. The project, located just a few meters from the Plaza Mayor and in the commercial heart of the city, positions the façade as one of the most prominent in Valladolid.
